Summary
《인간 실격》(일본어: 人間失格)은 일본의 소설가 다자이 오사무가 쓴 장편 소설(또는 중편 소설)로, 《달려라 메로스》, 《사양》에 이은 다자이의 대표작 중 하나이다. 1948년에 3월부터 쓰기 시작해 5월 12일에 탈고했다. 이후 잡지 〈전망〉에 6월호부터 8월호까지 총 3번에 걸쳐 발표되었다. 잡지에 연재되던 중 6월 13일에 작가가 스스로 삶을 마감했다. 이 소설이 작가가 쓴 마지막 작품은 아니고 아직《굿 바이》를 쓰고 있었다. 이 소설은 작가 사후 유작으로 발표되었다. 이 책은 당대의 인종차별적 비속어와 그 밖의 멸칭을 쓰인 그대로 싣고 있으며, ‘책 안내’가 해당 낱말이 나오는 곳에서 그 뜻을 설명합니다. 이 책에는 저자가 쓴 그대로의 폭력 장면이 담겨 있습니다.
