Summary

《唐璜》（Don Juan）由拜伦勋爵在1819年至1824年所写的讽刺英文史诗，其中描绘的唐璜不是好色之徒，而是很容易被女性勾引的男人。《唐璜》的文体是史诗诗歌，以八行体的方式写成，分为十六章。拜伦参考了西班牙有关唐璜的传说，但只参考其角色，没有使用其中的故事。第1章和第2章在1819年出版时，就被大众批评为不道德，因为作者在其中嘲笑当时的社会主题、人物和名人。拜伦1824年去世时，已完成17章中的16章，第17章尚未完成。 本书依原文保留了其时代的种族歧视用语及其他侮辱性词语；《阅读指南》会在这些词语出现之处加以说明。 本书包含暴力场景，均依作者原文呈现。
