Foglie d'erba (Leaves of Grass nell'originale in lingua inglese) è il titolo della più conosciuta raccolta di poesie del poeta e scrittore statunitense Walt Whitman. Fu pubblicata nel 1855 in occasione del giorno dell'Indipendenza: quasi un segno propiziatorio per un'opera destinata ad essere considerata come la Bibbia democratica americana. E questo sebbene il testo della raccolta apparisse - almeno all'uscita, e in minore misura nelle successive edizioni - quanto meno insolito rispetto alla tradizione, composto com'era da una lunga serie di versetti non divisi in strofe, senza pause o titoli.
