Summary
Sheikh Ibrahim Zauq (1790–1854) was a poet of Delhi, the teacher of the last Mughal emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar and a rival of Ghalib, admired for the finish of his ghazals. This book is a selection, not the complete diwan: it holds only the verse that volunteers have so far typed on Urdu Wikisource, 66 poems in all (62 ghazals, 4 qitas).
