الأميرة والعفريت هي رواية للأطفال كتبها الروائي جورج ماكدونالد. وقد نشرت في عام 1872 من قبل (ستراهان وشركائه). يورد هذا الكتاب الألفاظ العنصرية وغيرها من ألفاظ السباب في عصره كما كُتبت؛ ويشرح «دليل الكتاب» هذه الألفاظ في مواضع ورودها.
