رموزِ بیخودی
By علامہ محمد اقبال
Rumuz-e-Bekhudi ("The Mysteries of Selflessness", 1918) is the companion mathnavi to Asrar-e-Khudi: where that book is about the individual, this one is about the community (millat). It sets out the pillars of the Muslim community, belief in one God and the prophethood of Muhammad, and goes on to its ideals of brotherhood, equality and freedom, its law and its centre at Mecca, and the part of women and mothers in it. It ends with a summary drawn from the Surah al-Ikhlas and a plea made in the presence of the Prophet. This book uses the racial and other slurs of its period as written; the Book Guide explains these words where they occur.
