Hafiz Amiruddin Dehlvi's Qissa Maqtool-e-Jafa, also called Fasana-e-Gham-Amood, is a short dastan of the nineteenth century in the old storyteller's manner. It opens in a great, prosperous city of India, where the king puts a question to his four ministers and three of them refuse to answer it. This book contains scenes of violence as its author wrote them.
