Den ljusa skalpen: Nya präriehistorier

A dozen comic stories of the American West by Sigge Strömberg: cowboys, card sharps, schoolteachers and settlers, a congressman's campaign and a Swedish cook on the prairie. The title story turns on a fair-haired scalp; the rest are quick tall tales with a twist at the end. This book uses the racial and other slurs of its period as written; the Book Guide explains these words where they occur.
